Bunker, CLC, Nairobi Certificates

The Nairobi International Convention on the Removal of Wrecks entered into force in April 2015. The vessels flying the flag of a State Party, or navigating in exclusive economic zone of State Party, must have the Certificate attesting that insurance or other financial security to cover liability under this Convention is maintained (WRC or Nairobi Certificates). The Certificate is issued to each vessel of 300 gross tonnage and above by the appropriate authority of a State Party.

INMARCONS LTD. is authorized by Maritime Administration of Liberia as the Agent for the purpose of issuance Nairobi Certificates and we help the Shipowners to obtain such certificate within shortest time and at the Flag official price.

For application for Nairobi Certificate we require:

-P&I Club issued Wreck Removal Blue Card (WRC) in electronic PDF format. P&I Club shall be approved by Liberia for the purpose of issuing WRC;

-Payment of the official fee USD 300.

Upon the request we also help to obtain the Certificates in accordance with International Convention on Civil Liability for Bunker Oil Pollution Damage, 2001 (Bunker Certificates) and International Convention on Civil Liability for Oil Pollution Damage, 1969 (CLC Certificates) issued by Liberia or other Maritime Administrations (such as Palau or Sierra-Leone).
